Coffey & Thompson Fine Art Gallery opened its doors in 1946 to become Charlotte's first Uptown art gallery, custom frame shop, and art restoration center. In 2015, Lauri Dewhurst-Summers purchased the business from Paul Thompson after working with him for several years to learn the business.
 
For over 70 years, Coffey & Thompson has offered original and fine art pieces in a variety of media to accommodate even the most discerning clientele and art collectors' taste, and now Lauri has added interior design services to the business as well.

Commissioned pieces ranging from portraits, sculptures, and paintings top the list of offerings provided by the gallery, as well as etching and limited edition prints by world renowned artists.
