I always enjoyed art activities in school. Then in high school, I attended the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts in Creative Writing where I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the arts for an entire summer. That really fueled my passion! I went on to graduate from New York University with honors in 1999 with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications.

10 Aug Artist Spotlight Q&A with Terry Vedder, Jewelry Designer

Post Image

When did you start your career in art? How long have you known you wanted to be an artist?
I have always had my hands in some kind of artistic activities. I was born in 1948 in Pennsylvania and grew up in a family with four brothers. Not until after college, did I really recognize my talents to see things that others did not. After trying several mediums, I reached the point that I am today with jewelry.
